PCB design software specialist WestDev Ltd releases Pulsonix V9.1
Following on from the successful release of the PCB Design Software Pulsonix version 9.0 in December 2016, Pulsonix 9.1 further enhances the Pulsonix toolset with more enhancements and new functionality. This release is heavily focussed on enhancing workflow and productivity for its users but with an emphasis on the finer details. Since its introduction in 2001, Pulsonix has been adopted and integrated into many significant companies worldwide.
The Pulsonix 9.0 product added key new elements in the underlying structure of the product with the introduction of the Nets-based rule sets, a new High-speed Constraint Manager and the Pulsonix Vault; a revision and version control system. This has provided a strong foundation for moving forward aligning the product aspirations and goals for future releases.
Pulsonix 9.1 introduces over 60 new features, all of which were directly requested by Pulsonix users. New features have been added for the Part Variant Manager using advanced and standard simplified modes, drag and drop of Part attributes, View Powerplane modes within the PCB Layers Bar, instant Synchronise Design, sophisticated copper pour template order and additional scripting commands to show a summary of just a few of the new features.
New to Pulsonix? Let’s see what’s inside this powerful PCB design software:
Pulsonix has the largest import capabilities for PCB designs in the market. Accurately migrate your designs and libraries from many systems including Altium, OrCAD, PADS, Easy-PC, DesignSpark, CADstar, Eagle and many more. More.
Create clear and concise schematic drawings in this easy-to-use design environment. With a minimal learning curve, navigate with modeless operation and intuitive fast usage.
Cross probe to your PCB bi-directionally and integrate with the powerful Spice simulator. More
Using sophisticated routing and layout features, Pulsonix PCB allows you to spend your time designing and not fighting the tool. Full assembly variants are easy to define and use, but comprehensive at the same time. Set up advanced design rules and manufacturing rules using the Technology Editor to further enhance your PCB designs. More
Extensive manufacturing outputs can be exported to – Gerber, Excellon, ODB++, IPC-2581, Windows, IPC-356, PDF plus a fully customisable Report Maker interface to create company reports, BOMs, netlists and assembly placement outputs as you require. More
Interactive High-Speed Design capabilities
Pulsonix delivers a powerful set of constraint rules-driven interactive High-Speed design features. Conceived from the Schematic, the design can be defined by the engineer during the early design phase. All constraint rules are passed to the PCB design automatically where they are implemented using graphical guidance and head-up displays to ensure the layout is correct. More
3D Modelling and Viewer
Integrate PCB designs within your mechanical CAD environment using our STEP, DXF and IDF bi-directional interfaces. Interactively investigate the 3D view of your board directly within Pulsonix. More
Allow Pulsonix to do the management for you. Complete access control, revision history and saved search capability of Pulsonix design items in the Pulsonix Vault. More
